Personal Trainer Website on Your Own Domain: Profile and Checkout on yourname.com
Why a personal trainer should put their profile and payment page on their own domain, how to pick one, the two DNS records it takes, and how to do it without building a website.

A prospective client finds you on Instagram, likes your transformations, and taps the link in your bio. What they see next decides whether they pay. A long link on someone else's domain looks like a marketplace listing. Your own name in the address bar looks like a business.
You don't need to build a website to get that. You need a domain and about fifteen minutes.
Why your own domain is worth it
- Trust at the moment of payment. People hesitate to pay on a page whose address they don't recognise. fit.yourname.com matches the person they followed.
- It's easy to say out loud. "Go to coachpriya.in" works in a reel, on a business card and on a gym whiteboard. A link full of slashes doesn't.
- It's yours if you ever move. Change software, and you point the domain somewhere new. Every link you've ever shared keeps working.
- Clients don't feel shopped around. On your domain, they see you and your packages — not a directory of other coaches.
What a coach's site actually needs
Not a blog, not ten pages, not a designer. A coaching site does three jobs: show who you are (bio, certifications, transformations), show what you sell (your packages and prices), and take payment. If your coaching profile already does those three things, the only missing piece is the address.
Picking a domain
- Use your name or your coaching brand, not a niche you might outgrow ("ketocoachpriya" ages badly).
- .in and .com are both fine for Indian clients; pick whichever is free and short.
- Avoid hyphens and numbers — they're the first thing people get wrong when they hear it.
- Buy it from any registrar (GoDaddy, Hostinger, Namecheap, Cloudflare). A yearly cost of a few hundred rupees is typical for .in.
Tip: use a subdomain such as fit.yourname.com or coach.yourname.com for your coaching page. It leaves the main domain free for anything else later, and it's the simplest to set up.
Connecting it: two DNS records
"DNS" sounds technical, but for this it's two copy-and-paste entries in your registrar's dashboard:
- A CNAME record that points your subdomain (say, fit) at the address your coaching platform gives you.
- A TXT record that proves you own the domain.
After that, the secure padlock (SSL certificate) should be issued for you automatically. DNS changes usually show up within minutes, occasionally a few hours.
Your profile and checkout on your own domain
Coach Pro (₹499/month) lets you connect a domain you own. Trainzilla shows you the exact two records to add and handles the certificate.

On Coach Pro, open your Profile, add the domain you bought, and Trainzilla shows the CNAME and TXT values to paste into your registrar. It checks quietly in the background, and once the records are found and the certificate is ready, your public profile opens at your domain — and so does checkout, so clients pay you without ever seeing a trainzilla.in link. Until then, visitors are sent to your normal Trainzilla profile, so nothing breaks while you wait.
Pair it with your own logo, name and colours in the client app (also on Coach Pro), and the whole journey — from bio link to payment to the app they train in — carries your brand.
Put it everywhere
- Instagram and YouTube bio links.
- Your WhatsApp Business profile and quick replies.
- Your Google Business Profile, if clients find you locally.
- The end of every reel: say it once, put it on screen.
The short version
A coach doesn't need a full website — just a profile that shows who you are, what you sell and takes payment, on an address with your name on it. Buy a short domain, add two DNS records, and send every bio link there. It's the cheapest trust upgrade in your business.
